After an epic flight across the world, LAST FLIGHT TO ABUJA landed on the 6th of January, as the opening film of TAZAMA (African Women Film Festival)  in  Brazzaville, Republic of Congo.
In a ceremony attended by Congo government ministers, business leaders and female filmmakers from across the world, the Nigerian delegation included Obi Emelonye, the writer/Producer and director of LAST FLIGHT TO ABUJA; Celine Loader (Actress in the film and Media Consultant to the Central Bank of Nigeria) and Uru Eke, Actress in the film.

The audience rose to a standing ovation at the end of the white-knuckle ride; as Obi Emelonye, the Writer/Director/Producer took to the stage, flanked by Celine Loader and Uru Eke, to take a vibrant Q&A session. According to the Congolese people, this was not the ‘Karachika’ (an acronym for Nigerian films) that they knew.
