American R&B singer Lauryn Hill did a video apologising to her Nigerians for not showing up at the May Day Live event which was due to take place on the 1st of May. She explained what happened saying the promoter failed to book all of the necessary flights for her and her team. She performed one of her hit singles ‘That Thing‘. to her Nigerian fans instead. How thoughtful and sweet.
The queen of Soul and R&B took to her home page to let her Nigerian fans know that she did everything in her power to get to them and that she will surely make it up to them at some point.
