Popular American rapper Lil Wayne has revealed that Nigeria is one of the countries he would love to visit.
Lil Wayne made this known during an interview in the United States while discussing his next possible destinations around the world.
Asked by his interviewer to mention the countries he hasn’t been to but would love to, the multiple award winner named Nigeria as one of such countries, before adding that he would love to make the trip. Lil Wayne also cited Nigerians passion for entertainment as a strong pull.
He said: “I have never been to Nigeria and that is the place that I would love to go to. I have never been to Egypt. I heard Nigeria is lit. I had a whole different idea of the place.”

Lil Wayne’s confession will act as yet another confirmation that Nigeria has truly risen above her dark ages. A time when event organizers struggled to convince top international performers to bring their enactments to their concerts. The country now poses as a strong attraction for popular celebrities, especially those from the States.
Last year saw rapper Cardi B arrive in Lagos (the country’s most recognized city) for a concert. Lil Wayne could well be the next big star to thrill fans with his presence.
