The actress says a number of black men who claim to be friends with women do so with other secret agendas that involve sleeping with them.
Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede is crying out for true male friends who will strive to seek the best for their female buddies without being motivated by sex.
The movie star made this known in a post shared via her Instagram page on Monday, September 21, 2020, where she professed how hard it is for the African woman to find a male friend whom to share a platonic relationship with.
According to her, black women are in need of male friends who will not flirt with them or try to get into their pants.
She also described men who don’t have any other agenda than to see their female friends win as a blessing.
“Making male friends who are genuinely your friends and never flirt or try to fuck you are a blessing. We as women be needing that platonic love. Black men who look out for us with no agenda but to see us win are the best,” she wrote.
Jegede is a Nollywood actress. She rose to prominence after she made a cameo appearance in the music video African Queen by 2Baba Idibia alongside Annie Macaulay now Idibia.
