Mandy Sanghera UN human right activist, motivational speaker, honour based crime , government advisor on vulnerable adults and forced marriages has been confirmed to speak on Divas of colour 2015. In her speech, she would be discussing the impacts of abuse on the mental well being of women such as self harming and eating disorders.
She will also use the opportunity to encourage women to talk about these issues in order to find help faster. Divas of colour is the largest gathering of worlds mist powerful women of colour from around the globe. Thus year, the focus is on depression and us donating 10% of ticket sales to the chosen charity Depression Alliance.
Mandy Sanghera has also endorsed the event and supports the initiative to celebrate, recognise and reward contributions of women of colour. Divas of colour 2015 in association with Lebara Mobile and DrKem commemorates with International women’s celebration will be held on the 21st of March at Hilton hotel Docklands Riverside, London.
