Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson and some of her colleagues have shared their opinions about the unexplainable death of Chrisland student Whitney Adeniran, calling out the school for negligence.

I’m responding to the cries of a mother going through the worst pain ever. a mother who wants to know how her child died so suddenly. @bam.babycity
No parent deserves this. Since I saw this heartbreaking video this morning, I’ve called to plead with the school, @Chrislandinsta, to do as Whitney’s mother has cried for and release the full details of what happened to her daughter. We are all waiting.
My condolences to Whitney’s family. My prayers are with you.

@chrislandinsta You need to come out & tell Whitney’s parents the truth about their daughter’s death. The negligence from your school is appalling. There is a whatsapp audio circulating that she died as a result of electrocution. Can you confirm or deny? Did you not vet the vendors at your event to make sure they came with child proof equipment? You knew the child was dead before sending her to a ‘health centre’ and sent the mother on a wild goose chase to look for her child without accompanying her. The actual audacity to be irresponsible.
The fact that you went ahead with the event when one of your students just died reeks of a lack of empathy. @jidesanwoolu @nigerianpoliceforce Kindly look into this urgently.

“This is a pain any mother shouldn’t experience @bam.babycity I’m extremely feeling your pain and I’m So sorry for your loss, I know the feeling when we pray with our kids in the morning and send them to school daily to come back with good grades, so me of us pay through our nose to send them to these schools, every parents wants the best for their kids, Not their dead body to be brought back, I pray they get to the root of this matter and get clarity, @Chrislandinsta a mother is in agonizing pain.
God will expose whoever is responsible for this in Jesus name🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 not even an ambulance or first aid on ground, it is a big no no.
