Legendary pop singer Michael Jackson’s youngest son Blanket Jackson has splashed the cash on a sprawling mansion worth $2m.

Blanket, who recently clocked 18 years old last February, has made his first adult decision and it involves flying off his grandmother’s nest to become independent.

The young man has acquired for himself an exquisite six-bedroom property located in the highbrow area of Calabasas, California.

The property is said to be located close to his grandmother, Katherine Jackson’s palatial residence, which is located in the neighboring community of the Estate at the Oaks.

According to Metro UK, Blanket is most likely to be close neighbours with superstars like John Travolta, Dr Dre and the large Kardashian- Jenner clan.

He is the last of Michael Jackson’s children to buy a house as he and his older siblings, Paris and Prince, use to be harbored by their grandmother until they all moved out.

Born on February 22, 2020, he was named Blanket by his father as form of endearment. Though he changed his name to Bigi in 2015, his legal name remains Prince Michael II Jackson.
