Forbes has released its 18th annual ranking of The Worlds 100 Most Powerful Women from around the world. These women were honoured for making history in their respective fields of work and bringing positive change through their contributions and achievements. Including breaking age-old patriarchal doctrines and raiding what was traditionally considered male bastions. Nigerian media mogul, Mo Abudu snagged the 98th position and the most influential among women on earth.

Mo Abudu made the list alongside other women such as Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and Samia Suluhu, making them the 3 most powerful women in Africa.

However, some people are wondered if politics could have played out as to why only the whites came to top positions especially considering when Amazon boss, Jeff Bezos’ ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott, was chosen as the number one most powerful woman on the planet for 2021.

But Social media continued to boil as Mbudu came to 98th position, reviving Africa’s hope in the world of Segregation and Patriarchy.

Some other influential women who were chosen include Beyonce, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Reese Witherspoon, Queen Elizabeth II, and lots of them.
