The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has released the list of nominees for the 2019 CAF Awards ceremony. And the category for Men African Player of the Year is star-studded with some notable names of professional football players in the continent who ply their trade in different renowned football clubs across Europe and Asia.

Mohamed Salah, Wilfred Ndidi, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Riyad Mahrez are among nominees for the category, after putting in stellar performances that culminated in both trophies and individual awards for both club and country.

The event is scheduled to take place in Hurghada, Egypt. And will be the 28th edition of the annual football awards.
