There were nine victims of the crash and mostly family.
John Altobelli, his wife Keri Altobelli and daughter Alyssa Altobelli died. Sarah Chester and daughter Payton Chester died.

Alyssa Altobelli and Payton Chester are teammates to 13-year-old Giana Bryant. May their soul RIP.

Kobe Bryant who is 41 year of age is a 5 time MBA Champion among several other achievements, including an Oscar for a short movie he made about basketball. The basketball player who was named the NBA’s Most Valuable Player in 2009 is survived by his wife Vanessa, Kobe Bryant was father to four daughters: Gianna, Natalia, Bianca, and Capri, who was only born on June 20, 2019, and only just over 7 months old before the legendary NBA players untimely death.

Shocking news like this allows us to think twice about life. Is the way we leave matters? and if it does, is it’s worth making plans for tomorrow when it’s not even promised? Such untimely death has made us realise how, waking up every day, going out and coming back safely in an underrated blessing.

This news has also taught us that ‘life’ no matter who you are, where you leave and what you do, death is inevitable. Tomorrow is not promised to us and whatever we do today, we should make sure we leave our best life as much as we can.

We all have only one life and no matter what country, race or state we find ourselves, happiness is one thing we should pursue always and love of one another of course.
