I know some of you seeing that the first quarter of the year has ended and what you planned to achieve within it, did not work as planned. My dear friend, there is still hope! For the fact that you are able to wake up to witness this day, tells you that, you have all the hope in this world to achieve whatever goal you have set for yourself. It is only the living that can boost of hope, therefore, you being alive gives you the hope of becoming anything you desire in life.
You can only hope when you have breath still inside of you, and no matter the circumstances, you must never give up. Even when it seems that the road is blunt, your breath alone is the hope you need to continue. There is this saying that a living dog, is better than a dead lion. This simply means that despite the lion is the king of the jungle, and the dog is nothing before him, once he dies, his being the king is no longer relevant, and the dog being alive, is more important than the lion, because of his hope of continuity.
The desire and expectation you have in that promotion in your workplace, business, skills, craft, etc, can only become realistic when you are still among the living, that alone should keep your hope alive in expectation. Forget about the target you have set for yourself in the first quarter, that didn’t come through, continue with what you are doing and keep hoping that what you seek, will come one day, whether it falls within your target or not. There are a lot of people that set a target for themselves in the first quarter, some achieve it, but they are no more today, but you that did not achieve yours, but still living, is enough hope that you are still on the right track. My friend, there is still hope for you to become that which you want for yourself, for the fact that you are still breathing. Though four-month is gone, you still have eight months which is more to achieve your goal. Hope is only for the living, that is one thing, you must always have at the back of your mind. You will succeed! Happy New Month.
