The life we lived is such that you and you only, decide whatever outcome you want for yourself in anything you do. ‘The ball is in your court’, simply means you are in possession of your life, and solely responsible for whatever decision you make concerning it, whether to become successful or not, good or bad, happy or sad, you are the only one that would determine it, and the direction you want your life to take.

Using a football match as a case study here, you will agree with me, that the ultimate aim of every team, is to win, irrespective of the challenges encountered in the field of play. When a player is with the ball, the attention is focused on the goal, and at that point in time, he decides what to do with the ball, and his decisions are very important at that moment. He might decide to score by himself or make a pass to another person to score, but the ultimate aim is to score the goal and win the match.

The truth remains that, no one can help you out when the ball is in your court, and for the ball to be in your court, you decides what to do with it. You don’t need anyone to decide for you, rather, you chose where you want to play it to, either to score, to pass, or to keep it to yourself. But you should know that, whatever be the outcome, your decision, plays the major role. Like in the case of the football match, if you desire to pursue your life goal, the attention you give to it, determines the result you will produce. If you want it big, the ball is in your court, and if you want it small, the ball is also in your court. Whichever way it is, no one can help you make your life decisions, except you. So chose today, where you hope to make your pass in life to get the result you seek. The ball is in your court.

You will succeed!

Happy New Week.
