Noah in his days did not allow the people around him to distract him from achieving his goal and purpose in life. He was not expecting people to applaud him before building the ark, never waited for the love and understanding from anyone or the approval of the people around him to build the ark neither did he allow the rejection, neglect, name callings, and the bad mouthing of others to prevent him from obeying God to build the ark.
Sometimes, when we make the decision to obey God, we will get unreasonable men to label us unfaithful, disloyal and break away people. These people will go to the extent of blackmailing you to their associates and followers not to have anything to do with you. What they have forgotten or lack to understand is that, God has his own ways of making his agenda in people’s life to come to pass.
Let me encourage you. Never allow the stigma and mockeries of others limit or prevent you from pursuing the purpose and destiny God has for you. You are building the purpose of God for your life.
Focus, be determined, and committed in doing the will of God for your life. Learn how to be focused on staying focused regardless of the attitude of negative people around you. Noah was not stopped by negativities. He stayed focused and deployed his ability and skills in building the ark of God to save those who needed to be saved. Sometimes, we think everybody in our lives needs our attention, but that is not true.
I will encourage you to concentrate your mind on that single thing God has put in you to do in life and don’t be anxious by anything else. I want to be a great writer; possibly to have a best-selling book, but I need to remain determined and focused in going through the process of rejection and neglect to achieve that dream.
Just as Noah did; I am also prepared to go through the process of being ignored and sidelined by negative people to achieve my dream. That is the way forward. You may not be loved, appreciated, applauded, supported and helped by men, but the Holy Ghost is your comforter and helper. Step up and keep up. Your rewards are bigger than applauds of men.
