Nollywood actor and director, Desmond Elliot, recently received his INEC Certificate of Return. The top Nollywood actor won the Lagos State House of Assembly elections last month. He will be representing the people of Surulere constituency in the Assembly. Does this mean he will slow down in the movie business?
We don’t think so. He took to his twitter account to announce the good news with the picture above.

For what we know, Elliott was very excited about this role. We guess its a new challenge. His family are also very proud of him. We say congratulation and good luck to the movie maker gone politics.
