Swiss-based marketing agency Kentaro today confirmed it is staging the Nigeria versus Scotland international friendly match, taking place on the evening of Wednesday 28th May 2014 at Craven Cottage, home of Fulham FC.

The match is likely to be the last game before African giants Nigeria head off to Brazil to compete in their fifth World Cup.

The Super Eagles squad is likely to include English Premiership stars John Mikel Obi and Victor Moses, Lille FC’s Vincent Enyeama, Emmanuel Emenike and many that will make the final World Cup team.

The two teams last met in Aberdeen in 2002 when the “Super Eagles” triumphed as 2-1 winners.

Tickets for this special pre World Cup friendly will go on sale on Fulham FC’s official website www.fulhamfc.com/tickets and are priced from £10 for kids and £25 for adults.

“This is the last chance for UK-based Nigerians to give a special send-off to their team ahead of the World Cup”, commented Jonathan Hill, Chief Operating Officer of Kentaro.

Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi expressed his excitement about the match. “We are delighted to be playing the Scottish team in London as part of our pre World Cup preparations, and we know it will be a real test in front of a passionate crowd. We hope that many London based Nigerians will come out in masse to give the Eagles a rousing send forth ahead of Brazil 2014″.

“The Tartan Army are an exciting squad and Gordon Strachan has been doing great work with the team. It will be a good game for us and the venue is perfect; where we played four-time World Cup winners Italy to a standstill in November”.

Tickets go on sale today (Friday, 21, March, 2014) at 10am, details via www.facebook.com/nigeriavscotland and directly via Fulham FC on www.fulhamfc.com/tickets or 0843 208 1234.
