Emeka and Faustina Anyanwu Finalists in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards

Emeka and Faustina Anyanwu, co-founders of Faunteewrites limited and publishers of C. Hub magazine, have been announced as a shortlisted entrepreneur within the creative entrepreneur category.

The Nigerian couple both left their careers to switch to media and publishing with the mission to change what you hear and see about Africa and Africans. Emeka Anyanwu, the husband,  was a successful Chemical engineer while the wife, Faustina Anyanwu, was a dedicated Nurse/midwife.

In 2012, both decided to take the plunge and take up the responsibility to change the narrative on African story by highlighting the best and achievements of Africans all over the world.

4 years on, the magazine, C. Hub magazine has become one of the most influential and authentic African magazines in the UK. Winning several award nationally and internationally.

In line with the vision and mission, they have also created several other brands within the company. The other brands include, Divas of colour International women’s forum, MBW PR, Pearlwoman Magazine and the most prestigious award for Africans in the UK and beyond, CA Award (Creativity Award).

Speaking, Emeka Anyanwu said, “we’re humbled and encouraged by the many support and recognitions we’ve received both within the community and our industry. We didn’t start what we do for us to be recognised or awarded. We saw a gap and a need in our community and wanted to close that gap, give our people a platform to achieve global branding and be able to compete in the world market through a balanced media representation. Our passion is to create opportunities, give our people positive image, inspire and challenge excellence . And today, 4 years on, we are gradually making that mark which is remarkable and encouraging for us. “
