Nigerian Minister For Transport Rotimi Amaechi Attacked by Nigerians in Spain

Nigeria Minister for Transport, Rotimi Amaechi revealed some Nigerians attacked him in Spain on Friday, December 6th.

The Minister who is currently on a “national assignment at a climate change event in Madrid” tweeted.
“Some minutes ago, I was attacked by a few misguided Nigerians while on national assignment at a climate change event in Madrid, Spain. The Spanish police quickly repelled them before they could do any harm. I am fine. I was not hurt. Thanks for your support & prayers.”

The Members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Italy have confirmed attacking the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi in Spain. Confirming the incident, IPOB members in Italy shared videos from the scene of the attack expressed their disappointment on “not getting the Minister” and beating him up as they planned to.

This isn’t the first time, Nigerians in the diaspora are attaching ministers. Former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, was attacked by aggrieved IPOB members at the New Yam festival in Germany in August this year.
