Self-acclaimed Table shaker and runaway former aide to President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, is presently not shaking any tables but instead shaking in a corner and crying out for help after Peter Obi supporters pounced on him. Trouble started for the rebranded social media influencer, who prides himself as a pious Christian preacher when he condemned Peter Obi’s most recent interview with Arise TV.
In a Tweet directed at Northern Muslims in Kano, Reno said Obi’s statement on NNPP candidate Rabiu Kwankwaso was a direct insult to them. Immediately, supporters of the Labour Party presidential decided they had had enough of Reno’s manipulative and gaslighting ways and accused him of inciting political and ethnic violence in the country. Leaving no stone unturned, the Soro Soke generation started a petition calling on Twitter to ban the preacher from the micro-blogging app as they did for ex-US President Donald Trump over the same act. Peter Obi’s supporters also petitioned Business Insider to rescind the “Business Influencer of 2022” award granted to Reno Omokri. As of the time of scripting, the petition has garnered over 128 thousand signatures. The table shaker is now crying wolf about Peter Obi fans threatening his life and that of his wife and children, saying they are to be held responsible if anything happens to him. Unfortunately, famous Investigative reporter David Hundeyin, a Peter Obi fan, decided that the party was far from over and opened a can of worms about Reno Omokri’s secret life.
