Nigerian businessman Obi Cubana has taken to social media to brag about his hotel after it hosted the Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle.
Taking to his Instagram page to share a video of their visit, he expressed pride at the hotel hosted by the royal couple. Following their visit, Obi Cubana declared it the number one luxury hotel in Africa.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are visiting Africa’s most populous nation for the first time after being invited by Nigeria’s chief of defence staff.
Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan, arrived in Nigeria to promote discussions about the country’s possibility of hosting the Invictus Games.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex landed in Nigeria on Friday, May 10. Their three-day visit to Nigeria ended with a visit to Lagos on Sunday, May 12, where Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu welcomed them.
Obi Cubana has undoubtedly come a long way in life. In 2022, He recounted how circumstances almost ruined his convocation at UNN.
The Cubana Group founder narrated his experience travelling for his convocation, recounting how he and his friends travelled by night bus because it was affordable.
Unfortunately, he lost one of the priceless gifts his uncle gave him for his good grades, and that nearly ruined his convocation.
Following his story change, the billionaire has never ceased giving to the less privileged. He had once gifted 20 of his former classmates two million naira each.
He had also given a scholarship to a viral pure water hawker, Ekuma Jeremiah, and had changed his financial status.
His philanthropic acts and business acumen earned him a Doctorate in Business Administration from Enugu State University.
Recently, he expressed joy at fulfilling some of his core values as he attended UNN’s 50th convocation ceremony.
