Popular Nollywood actress and producer, Omoni Oboli’s “Wives On Strike: The revolution” Premieres in London on Friday, 9th of March at Odeon Greenwich and Showing in 6 Selected Odeon UK cinemas from Mar 9 -11. This is the perfect Mothers Day weekender present.

The first movie ‘Wives On Strike’ focused on one common social issue, ‘Child Marriage’, in the African community and how a group of market women reacted to it. The movie later became a hit in the Nollywood box office. In the sequel, ‘Wives on Strike: The Revolution’ movie follows these market women fighting against domestic violence after one of them was beaten to death by her husband. This leads to yet another strike by the women against their husbands forcing their hands to stand up for what is right.

‘Wives on Strike: The Revolution’maintained most of its cast member from the prequel and also welcomed some fine additions.

Returning cast includes Omoni Oboli (leader of the movement), Uche Jumbo, Kenneth Okonkwo, Julius Agwu, Ufuoma McDermott, Chioma Akpotha and Kalu Ikeagwu.

New casts include; Toyin Abraham, Sola Sobowale, Odunlade Adekole and CHigurl.
