Omotla Jalade-Ekeinde Dazzling in Roooi design
Nollywoods biggest International icon Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde receives the UK Ebony Vanguard Award 2013 for her contribution and influence to black cinema. She was known that evening as (Queen of African Silver Screen). The 7th Annual Movie Video and Screen Awards took place on Saturday the 2nd of November 2013 at International Convention Centre Birmingham. The night was described as one of the glitziest, packed with black international celebrities from Television, Film and Sports. The event kicked off with a reception for the stars at the Hilton Brindley Place, then celebrities were transported by Phantom Rolls Royce’s provided by individual cars to the ICC for the red carpet reception, buzzed with photographers. The Award night was hosted by Chucky Venn and Lorna Laidlaw. The night was full of glamour and excitement.
Another big African icon who was present at the event was Michelle Bello as her recent film Flower Girl receives an Award for Best Internaional Film.
