Top streaming subscription service Amazon Prime recently launched the localized version of its streaming service in one of Africa’s biggest markets: Nigeria. To commemorate the event, the tech giant hosted the country’s biggest stars and users at its first multi-sensory experience in Eko Hotel & Suites, Nigeria.

Nigerian celebrities came out in full force for the launch of Prime Video.

Over the weekend, the entertainment industry stood still as Prime Video officially launched across the country.

Prime Video is an app that allows subscribers to pay Naira and have access to a wealth of movies, TV shows, and documentaries.

With the new change in the entertainment industry, celebrities stepped out in style to support the new invention.

Spotted at the launch party were Funke Akindele, Richard Mofe Damijo, Sola Sobowale, Rita Dominic, Deyemi Okanlawon, Toyosi Etim Effiong, Tolu Bally, Tobi Bakre, Ramsey Nouah, Boma Akpore, Neo Akpofure, Stephanie Coker, MI Abaga, Femi Adebayo, Timini Egbuson and a host of others.

Although the theme of the event was tagged Blue Tie, some other celebrities served in dazzling colors to highlight the blue theme. see photos;
