MEET THE CASTS
O.C. Ukeje was born in Lagos state, Nigeria. The second child of a family of 3 children nursed his interests at the end of secondary school, 
concentrating mainly on singing before beginning a career in acting from his first year at the University of Lagos, Nigeria with a lead role in a stage play. His father, a caterer and his mum, a staff of the Nigerian Civil Service were ever supportive and he went on to pursue both music and acting, focusing on the acting, on stage plays specifically for the first 4years of his career, before winning the 2006 Amstel Malta Box Office reality TV show for actors. He began a full career with a merger of stage and screen. His first screen appearance, as directed by Izu Ojukwu was in White Waters (2008) with the acclaimed Joke Silva and Rita Dominic.
He went on to win the African Movie Academy Award (AMAA) for the Best Upcoming Actor (2008) and the City People’s Award for Best New Act (2010).
He was a cast of the TV series that was presented at the International Emmy World Television Festival, Wetin Dey (2007) produced by the BBC World Service Trust and played lead and supporting lead roles in films like Comrade, Confusion Na Wa and The Awakening.
He featured in acclaimed Nigerian director, Jeta Amata’s Black November (2012), along with Mickey Rourke, Kim Basinger, Sarah Wayne-Callies, Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Vivica Fox, Fred Amata and a host of others.
He also featured in the screen adaptation of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s Half of a Yellow Sun (2013) with Chinwetel Ejiofor, Thandie Newton and Anika Noni-Rose as lead cast as directed by Biyi Bandele, which premiered at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival and screens at the London International film festival.
His most recently premiered movies in Nigeria were Alan Poza (2013) and Confusion Na Wa (2013) and he was on the repertory team that showcased 3 stage plays for the Nigeria House at the London Cultural Olympiad (2012).
In 2012, he played the second lead in the screen adaptation of Bola Agbaje’s award winning play, Gone Too Far, sponsored by the British Film Institute and premieres at the 2013 London International Film Festival.
In his spare time he writes material for his music, works on radio jingles and collaborates with other musical artistes and producers.
He received the 2013 Best Actor in a Drama Award at the inaugural Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards ceremony; the 2013 Best Actor in a Lead Role Award at the Nigerian Entertainment Awards and was nominated in the Best Actor category at the Africa Movie Academy Awards(AMAA). He also won the Best Lead Actor category for the 2013 Nigerian Movie Awards (NMA); 2013 Best Lead Actor category for the Best Of Nollywood Awards (BON) as well as the 2013 Future Awards Africa Prize in Entertainment Category.
Edith Nwekenta is a writer, producer and founder of Ruki London, a production company dedicated to bringing creative and distinctive 
ideas to the screen. After graduating from De Montfort University with a BSc in Media Production she decided to pursue acting. Training first at Identity Drama School, she went on to train at the Young Actor’s Theatre.
Edith has appeared in several shorts as well as the stage production of the BEFFTA award nominated drama BREACH, and the TV series. In 2012 she was selected as the writer for Channel 4’s Global Entrepreneurship Week, where as part of a team she made a promo documentary for Channel 4’s commissioners titled ‘The Lost Cause’. Edith co wrote the award winning short film UNSPOKEN (Won Best Short Movie at Nollywood Movie Awards 2013) which is currently being developed into a TV series. In 2013 she co directed her first short, LOVE PREVAILS, which debuted at the British Urban Film Festival. Edith co produced her first screenplay MUM, DAD, MEET SAM, which is now in post-production. Her latest project is ‘Prey’, a short thriller film she wrote and co produced currently in production. The film stars Nollywood sensation OC Ukeje alongside Weruche Opia, Yvonne Hays and Azizat Sadiq.
Azizat Sadiq. The name Azizat Sadiq is not one that is new in the Nigerian showbiz industry, particularly Nollywood. Breaking away from the generic to stardom by winning the first ever Amstel Malta Box Office (AMBO). 
Azizat went on to feature as lead in the movie SITANDA. This, as many Nollywood fans will admit, put her in the light as an actress with both poise and passion, not to mention the talent which is not difficult to notice at first encounter.
She also worked with Major media houses like the BBC world service trust and Mnet Africa on projects like Wetin Dey and Edge of Paradise before making her way to the UK where she is now based.
While in the UK she has kept herself busy with movies like Urban Rhythm which features her as a musician, Shattered and The Engagement to mention but a few.
Yvonne Hays is an award winning British actress who started her acting career 2 years ago. She has played supporting roles in ‘The Rubicon’, ‘Ilu-Oba (The Queen’s Land)’, ‘International Games’, ‘Strive to Survive’, ‘Urban Rhythm’ (which screened at the recent Pan African Film 
Festival in L.A), ‘Shameful Deceit’, ‘Battered’. She has played lead roles in ‘Heartless Carer’, ‘Purity of Heart’, ‘Day one in London’, ‘Diaries‘. Yvonne recently won the BEFFTA (Black Entertainment, Film, Fashion, Television, Arts) Award for ‘Best Actress 2013′ in the film category.
Her latest movie project is a suspense thriller ‘Prey’, directed by award winning Sunny King.
Steve Mace graduated from the Method Studio “Caravanserai” (now the Giles Foreman Centre for Acting) in 2010 with a Trinity Guildhall ACTL Diploma Distinction grade and went on to continue his training under the guidance of Giles Foreman and Drama Center 
Movement Director Lianna Nyquist.
In 2010 Steve played Macbeth at the Tristan Bates Theatre followed by a leading role in Anthony Neilson’s wickedly dark Normal at the Roundhouse which won “Best of the Fest” and was then transferred to the Theatro Technis for an extended run. In 2011 he played Clarence in Developing Artists production of Richard III at the Courtyard Theatre, and in early 2013 he toured to Rome playing Dracula. Recently he performed at the Park Theatre in it’s grand opening week as the psychopathic lead in a new piece of writing “Clouds of Grey” before going on to star as a lead in an MTV Commercial in late 2013. He has just finished a successful run of Frankenstein playing the lead “Victor” to 4* reviews. He continues to delve into characters on both stage and screen, constantly evolving and pushing the boundaries.
Sunny King is a director-producer of shorts and promos and founder of OAKMANFILM. Like most filmmakers, his first taste of the film 
industry manifested as a runner in a low budget feature film. The experience left a huge impression on him and led to making independent films of his own. He cites Fritz lang, F.W Murnau and Kinji fukasaku as influences. He has worked on numerous shorts, and supporting artist roles in Beeban Kidron’s Hippie Hippie Shake which also starred Sienna Miller and Cillian Murphy. He was runner-up on Project talent UK 2007. He had his first short film ‘Signs‘ selected for the Woodgreen international film festival 2009. He won the GMA awards for best international music video 2011.His latest production called “Unspoken” screened at the premiere of Nollywood movie “Last Flight to Abuja” to a resounding success. It made the top 10 finalists out 526 short films worldwide at Afrinolly short film competition. ”Unspoken” has also done several film festivals like Buff Film Festival , Africa in the Pictures Festival ,Film Africa London Independent Film festival, Cinema Africa in Sweden, The 6th international WAMMFEST Women and Minorities in Media (USA)

Weruche Opia (formerly known as Reanne) began her professional acting career in the UK with her screen debut on ITV’s “The Bill”. From 
there, she went on to land roles in numerous theatre and television projects in the UK before returning to Nigeria, where she was born and raised, to get a feel of the industry.
She has been fortunate enough to bridge a gap between the two industries; as although her career is based in the UK, she is able to work both in the UK and Nigeria. She is most known for her roles in the Nigerian stage adaptation of “For Colored Girls”, Channel 4’s “Top Boy”, and viral comedy skit “The Lagos Big Girl’s Game”. She just recently filmed a feature film in Nigeria titled “ When Love Happens” which will be released at end of the year.
