On Saturday, March 14, 2020, the 7th edition of the African Magic Viewers Choice Awards {AMVCA} was held in Lagos State.
The 7th edition of the AMVCA awards was broadcast live on the African Magic channels, and it was indeed jam-packed with glitz and glamour as many of our favorite celebrities in the showbiz industry showed up in style to grace the event with their presence.
The event was headlined by popular media personalities IK Osakioduwa and Amina Abdi Rabar – with lots of awards up for grab in different categories.
‘Living in Bondage’ won big at the show with 8 awards to its name. While its director Ramsey Nouah bagged the award for Best Director.

Actress Toyin Abraham emerged best actress in Drama while Timini Egbuson went home as winner in the male category.

It was also a night to remember for Big Brother Naija duo Mike Edwards and Mercy Eke who were crowned winners of the special Best Dressed Male and Female category for their unique sense of fashion.
