Talented Nigerian singer Ric Hassani has won the bid to produce the original music for David Oyelowo and Oprah Winfrey‘s film, ‘The Water Man’.
The Oprah Winfrey-produced movie, which is currently in post-production will see Oyelowo make his directorial debut and also star as one of the lead actors.
Hassani announced the good news via his Twitter page on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, where he disclosed that the soundtrack for the family-centered drama has already been created by him.
He wrote. “God’s faithfulness. I created the music for David Oyelowo’s new movie. Isn’t that incredible?”

The Water Man is about a boy named Amos (David Oyelowo) who sets out on a quest to save his ill mother by searching for a mythic figure said to have magical healing powers, starring Rosario Dawson, Maria Bello, Alfred Molina and Lonnie Chavis.
The film was written by Emma Needell and executive produced by Oprah Winfrey.
