And in a matter of months, the singer got a yes from popular Nigerian Model, Hassanity after popping the question on March 14 of, 2021. What followed was a star-studded white wedding on September 25 of, 2021, that made many fans who had given up on love and marriage believe in it again.
Unfortunately, just over a year after the Nigerian Romeo and Juliet said I Do, it looks like there is now trouble in their paradise, and they are having a serious rethink about their decision to tie the knot. This speculation is coming fast on the heel of Skales making a cryptic post on his Instastory on October 30, 2022. “In all, you do make sure you don’t marry a heartless person, “the singer wrote. Of course, fans initially tried not to jump to a conclusion, sticking to the assumption that the 31-year-old rapper who just lost his mom was writing a think piece on another marriage he is privy to.
But it finally dawned on everyone that Skales was referring to his marriage after he called out his wife for mourning his late mom on social media while refusing to show care in real life. After threatening his wife to take down the post and not get him angry, the singer and his wife unfollowed each other on Instagram. Crying out to fans weeks later, Skales, who has yet to recover from the passing of his late mom, who singlehandedly raised him as a single mother, says his mental health is in trouble and has asked fans to pray for him.
