The question on the lips of every Nigerian is how Nollywood actress Empress Njamah would cope following the sad passing of her best friend, adopted sister, and colleague, Ada Ameh. Fans who have since broken down over The Johnson’s star actress’s untimely demise concluded that Empress would be a hundred times more devastated. Just like they thought, a video of the Cameroonian-Nigerian entertainer breaking down, weeping, and wailing while setting up a condolence register for her late best friend has gone viral. A crying Empress can be heard in the background saying, “I can’t take it.” Ada Ameh’s whole world literally crumbled as her daughter, who she had at the age of 14 and grew up together with like sisters, was the only thing that gave meaning to her life.

According to the actress, her friends and colleagues, including Funke Akindele, Iyabo Ojo, and Ini Edo, all tried their best to be there for her in their own little way. But no one was there for the 48-year-old thespian like her best friend, Empress Njamah, who frequently dropped her work in Abuja and flew to Lagos to comfort her, babysit her, and make her laugh, take her out, and ensure she remained strong. Following a recent cry for help where Ada Ameh said she was dying slowly over a company suing her for not doing a job because of her poor mental health, Empress immediately flew to Lagos to be there for her. From how she cheered up a tearful and emotionally down Ada, fans assumed the Imo indigene had killed her every suicidal thought and tendency.
