Controversial influencer Daniel Regha recently expressed his opinion about Ayra Starr and Tems during a podcast session hosted by Big Brother Naija star Doyin.
In the interview, Regha claimed that both Ayra Starr and Tems are up-and-coming artists. He further stated that in his opinion, an artist is either “up and coming or goated.”
Regha went on to say that he believes that the two female artists don’t have songs that can outlive 10 years and are easily forgettable when compared to some other popular singers such as Tiwa Savage, Omawumi, Waje, and Nicki Minaj.
According to Regha, Tems is still being remembered for the high-profile international events she attends, while Ayra Starr’s only notable feature is her miniskirts and her recycled songs, including “Sability,” which he described as the “most useless song” he has ever heard.
Regha further opined that for Ayra Starr to become an established artist, she needs to sing about diverse topics that can be used for different events.
He added that her lyrics should be more impactful and have more meaning.
Regha’s comments have sparked debate on social media, with some fans of the two artists defending them while others agreeing with Regha’s opinions.
