Nigerian rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem has successfully undergone his kidney transplant.
Recall that the rapper announced that he suffered kidney failure and would undergo a transplant in July.
Given maximum support from fans, friends and family especially his kidney donor, his wife Yetunde, on Wednesday, the 24th of August morning. The singe feeling much better confirmed the news of the successful transplant via his Instagram page, where he used the opportunity to thank everyone, especially his wife.
In appreciation for the love and support he got during this times he wrote;
“Words cannot express my love, devotion and commitment to my adorable, loving, supportive and compassionate wife, Yetunde, with whom God Has made my life complete…baby, I will always Love, cherish and adore you forever.
My awesome, lovely children, God Has harkened to your fervent prayers…daddy and mummy will be coming home hale and hearty soon.
To my extended family, recording company Lakreem Entertainment, my crew, friends, fans and well wishers, I say God Has done it for us again, and I will be seeing you guys soon.”
His Management team had initially announced the success of his transplant a day earlier before the singer finally made a post abut it.
A statement by Myke Pam, on behalf of the management, noted that Eedris and his wife, Yetunde, who is his kidney donor, were both recuperating.
The management further appreciated celebrities and fans for supporting the couple during their health crisis.
The statement read, “It is with unspeakable joy and undiluted thanksgiving that the management of Lakreem Entertainment officially releases the news of the successful kidney transplant surgery on Nigerian Hip Hop Czar and activist Eedris Abdulkareem, and his most gracious donor – his lovingly dedicated wife YT”.
