The 2019 Golden Globes Award for movies and television, chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association took place on Sunday, January 6th in Beverly Hills.

The evening was hosted by actors Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg. Winners from the glamours award night include Regina King, Christian Bale, Olivia Colman, Sandra Oh and Richard Madden.

The eligibility period for the Golden Globes corresponds to the calendar year, that is from January 1 through to December 31.
