Prince Harry on Sunday, January 19th delivered an emotional speech addressing the decision he made for himself and his wife to step down as senior royals and how it wasn’t a light decision.
During the dinner for supporters of Sentebale in London, the prince gave a speech addressing the shocking situation for the first time. Prince Harry explained that he is making this speech so that people can hear from him directly.

On Saturday, January 18th, Queen Elizabeth released a statement and coming to a final decision after Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle announced they were stepping back from their duties as royal and plan to spend their time between the UK and North America.
In the Queen’s recent statement, where she finally comes to a decision regarding the couple, she explained that Harry and his family will always be loved by members of her family. She added that they have her full support and that she was proud of them.
Buckingham Palace in a different statement released a basic outline for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s future.
Under a new agreement, the couple will no longer use their HRH titles and step back from some positions, including Prince Harry’s military appointments. They were allowed to “continue to maintain their private patronages and associations,” the Palace’s statement noted, which includes Sentebale, the charity Harry co-founded with Lesotho’s Prince Seeiso in 2006, which supports children affected by HIV/AIDS in Lesotho, Botswana and Malawi.
