A Nigerian man identified as Shola on Twitter, now known as X, has lamented over the public relations ploy by Sam Larry and Naira Marley to regain the love of Nigerians.

It was reported that Naira Marley and his aide, Sam Larry, had created a stir online with their show of love for the less privileged.

The two who have regained their freedom have made their first public appearance alongside Zinoleesk.

In videos making rounds online, Zino was seen conversing with Naira Marley and Sam Larry, which left many praising him for standing by his boss. In another clip, the trio entered a car as Sam Larry recorded them.

The trio then stormed an orphanage home, where they donated food items.

As expected, their charity work didn’t sit well with many, who noted how they were trying to buy back the love of the public.

Shola predicted that the disgraced and embattled singer and the socialite would engage in online giveaways to win back the hearts of social media users.

He expressed his fears that those demanding justice for the late Mohbad would drop their account details and forget the past.

He added that Naira Marley and Sam Larry know that it is easy to buy Nigerians’ love through money.

“Naira Marley and Sam Larry giving food to people on the street is the first step, the next step is doing giveaway on the internet, and everybody will move on. Same people who have been dragging them will drop their account details to win. They know you people are easy to get with money”.

Recall that Naira Marley and Sam Larry were arrested and alleged to be responsible for the death of Naira Marley’s former signee, Mohbad, and were kept in police custody for more than five weeks.

The pair were released on November 17th after they met their bail conditions. This was confirmed by the state police public relations officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, on Friday, where he revealed that they had perfected their bail conditions granted by a Lagos State Magistrates’ Court.

The magistrate, on Monday, November 6, granted the duo bail in the sum of N20 million with three responsible duties.

Mohbad was signed to Naira Marley’s” Marlian Records,” left the label in 2022, and died a year later, at the age of 27.

Last year, the singer and rapper posted clips of an alleged assault he suffered at the hands of Naira Marley’s crew after he requested to change his manager.

Naira Marley responded to his accusation by saying that he was lying as he spilled tea about him.

Mohbad released a full statement countering Naira Marley’s claims, expressing how justice will be served someday.

However, videos released online after his death proved that the young, talented singer was being assaulted.

A video of Naira Marley’s aide, Sam Larry, assaulting Mohbad sparked a flurry of reactions from the online community.

The video, which went viral, showed Mohbad in what seems to be a wheelchair with fellow artist Zlatan. Sam Larry is seen hitting him from behind before the intervention of Zlatan.
