The formal launching of the Nigerian Diaspora Direct Business and Investment club took place on Thursday, 18th of July 2019 at The Banquet Hall of the Nigerian High Commission, London. In attendance include Chairman: H.E Ambassador George Adesola Oguntade, CFR, CON. Guest of Honour: John Howell (MP), British Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Nigeria amongst others.
The National, Zonal and state investment clubs are new platforms and initiative of the Nigerian Diaspora Direct Investment Summit (NDDIS) to attract investments into Nigeria and promote partnership amongst Nigerians in Diaspora, UK and international businesses. The first batch of registration for the investment club also took place at the launch.
The initiative was launched by the High Commissioner of Nigeria to the UK, Ambassador George Oguntade and was organised by Mr Bimbo Roberts Folayan FIIM, (MBCS CITP), Executive Director, Nigerian Diaspora Direct Investment Summit (NDDIS) and his team.
Tim Morris, the former British Ambassador to Sudan gave a speech. Dr Boma Douglas, CANUK Chairman, Chibuzo Ubochi of (NIDO UK) and a few more also made an eloquent hopeful speech during the event.

The NDDIS Nigerian Business and investment club registration is still effective after the event for those still interested.
