This has been the question on the lips of many Nigerians since Annie, and 2face Idibia marital controversy hit the internet space. In early September, Nigerians watched as Annie Idibia exposed and dragged her Legendary husband 2Baba on social media while engaging in an online squabble with her in-laws. Apart from accusing him of sleeping under the same roof as his baby mama, Pero, while visiting his children, Annie alleged that 2Face family had never liked her from the get-go, and they have been serving her hell since marriage.
Just when we thought the Idibia’s had settled their issues, a leaked audio clip of Annie crying with anguish in her voice hit the internet. She tearfully revealed that her husband connived with his cousin and manager and jet off to America to see Pero without her knowledge. At the end of the audio, she could be heard saying, “I will ruin everything, I am done, I am done.” Amidst Idibia’s marital controversy, one name that has kept reoccurring is Pero Adeniyi, one of 2face baby mamas who had three kids for him. Drawing an almost perfect picture of all that is going on, many have concluded that 2face loves Pero as much as he loves Annie hence, the reason he continues to go back to her.
In contrast, some others believe his family love Pero more than Annie. With this information at hand, many have begun offering solutions to the couple, including ex-presidential candidate, Adamu Garba, who has urged the music legend to embrace polygamy and marry Pero as his second wife.
