Efe Okedi, the wife of Reggae Icon Ras Kimono. Okedi’s death, which occurred in the early hours of this morning, Sunday, 23, weirdly was similar to Ras Kimono’s death just 3 months ago.
On June 9, the iconic reggae singer, whose real name is Chux Ohai, slumped at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, while waiting to board a flight to the United States.
According to sources close to him, Kimono was immediately rushed to an unnamed hospital in Ikeja and then taken to another hospital on Lagos Island where he later died on Sunday, June 10.
Okedi, meanwhile, attended a family function, yesterday, Saturday, September 22, after which she complained of ill-health on Sunday morning and was rushed to the hospital. She allegedly died before they could get her to a hospital.
Okedi was also Ras Kimono’s manager and a member of his band while he was alive. She was his third wife.
