Legendary musician Tina Turner‘s oldest son, Craig Raymond Turner has passed away in an apparent suicide. He was 59.
Craig who was pronounced dead at the scene was adopted by Tina’s husband Ike Turner after their marriage in 1962 and gave him his name. He was found dead in his apartment and has been ruled as suicide.
He was found dead at the scene of his home in Studio City, California with a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound, the Los Angeles County Department of the Medical Examiner-Coroner has said. Medical workers are reported to have arrived at his home on Tuesday (July 3).
Craig, a real estate agent, is survived by his mother and his half-brother, Ronnie, who is Tina and Ike’s only child together.
The popular singer, Tina was in Paris when authorities discovered her son. The 78-year-old was pictured on the red carpet for the Giorgio Armani Prive show, part of Paris haute couture week and haven’t yet publicly comment on the tragic news.
