The ex-husband to Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh, Olakunle Churchill, has bagged an honorary award in Ondo State.
The philanthropist, in Ondo with Nollywood stars like Eniola Badmus, Faithia Williams, Jigan, Bimbo Oshin, and Foluke Daramola, for Ekimogun Day.
Olakunle Churchill received an honorary award in recognition of his commitment to the advancement of his state.
A few days prior, he had started a water project through his son’s charity and paid for many people’s hospital costs. Additionally, he sponsored a Charity Love Walk with People with Disabilities and awarded scholarships to kids.
On her Instagram page, Eniola Badmus posted a video of the priceless moments.
“EKIMOGUN DAY in Ondo State @olakunlechurchill receive an honorary award”.
Also, sharing clips from the award day, he wrote,
“Presentation of honorary award to the son of the soil Olakunle Churchill”.
This isn’t the first time Olakunle Churchill has been honoured.
Olakunle Churchill bags Chieftaincy Title
In 2018, Olakunle Churchill, who is also the chairman of Big church group of companies, was conferred with a chieftaincy title in Enugu.
Sharing the photos of the conferment, which was done in the presence of Emirs, Obas and Kings, Olakunle Churchill disclosed that he was given the title “Chief Ezinwa Chukwu Mere Eze 1”.
He wrote:
“Celebration in Enugu As I, Dr. Olakunle Churchill Bags Chieftaincy Title “EZINWA CHUKWU MERE EZE” in Presence of high profile Emirs, Obas, Kings etc, onferredIgwe Dr. Emmanuel Ugwu (Eze Okwe 1 Of Okwe Kingdom, Ibagwa Nike, Enugu East LGA – Enugu State)

He also bagged another Chieftaincy title in 2021.
Olaunkunle Churchill, in excitement, took to his Instagram page to share a video of the event.
He wrote:: Another Chieftaincy title ” Nwanne’di’namba”, coronated by HRH, Igwe Gerald Obunadike Mbamalu (Eze Ojoto III)
Reacting to the news, some Nollywood stars such as Foluke Daramola, Uche Ogbodo and many other fans stormed the comment section with congratulatory messages.
Following his divorce from Tonto, the billionaire businessman has gone ahead to marry actress Rosy Meurer, and they have a son together.
