When Tuchel was humiliated out of the French Ligue 1 last season, a lot of people felt it was his fault. The question people failed to ask was this:

How can a coach who has been doing well, suddenly cease to function in the line of success?

For some of us who admire the coaching style of the tactician, we considered PSG’s decision – sacking him – to be the greatest mistake they’ll live regret for a very long time. The German joined the club at the beginning of the 2018-19 season, winning back-to-back league titles as well as the Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue in 2020.

His departure came four months after he guided the club to their first Champions League final where they lost to Bayern Munich in Lisbon. He furthered his dominance both on national and inter-continental playgrounds.

But at a time, he was losing form, which he accredited to the club’s negligence to his advice, they relieved him of his duties.

In one of his advice, he said this: “We lose too many players on free transfers. It is too, too much. We cannot ask this squad the same thing as we did last season.”

The PSG Sporting Director, Leonardo, didn’t like his utterances, and in reply, said this:

“You have to respect the people above you.”

A great number of football observers were of the opinion that sacking Tuchel was a foolish decision. I felt bad for the man whose style of attack has won my admiration of his personality.

I was happy when the English Club, Chelsea, announced his arrival at Stamford Bridge. He made a first statement by winning the Champions League with a struggling team.

He was the perfect “doctor” with the cure to the ailment killing the London club.

He proved to the world that the fault of PSG wasn’t from him, but rather, a repercussion for some of the decisions the board took without listening to him.

Chelsea recently created history by trashing Tottenham Hotspur 3 – 0 in their home. For the first time in the club’s history, Chelsea has managed to win six consecutive Premier League London derbies away from home, and this is an impressive record.

The first half of the game was a scary football, but it takes a man like Tuchel to turn such a situation around. Utilizing the forgotten importance of the likes of Marcos Alonso was amazing, and the fierce football of the second half presented the opposition with a question:

“If you can see my attackers, can you sense my defenders?”

This win has kept them atop the Premier League Table with 13 points, while everyone is wondering what Tuchel has in mind this season.

Throughout the length and breadth of the football world, everyone is asking what seems to be a conclusion:

“Will Chelsea win the EPL?”

It is a very valid question because everyone needs to fear a man who’s out to prove a point!
