Nigerian actor and outspoken critic, Uche Maduagwu, had a striking face-to-face with movie star Kanayo O. Kanayo in a noteworthy encounter.
Uche visited the veteran actor’s office and genuinely sought forgiveness after dragging him over his comment on the ailment of comic act John Okafor, also known as Mr. Ibu.
In a widely circulated video on social media, Uche is seen humbly dropping to his knees upon entering Kanayo’s office, tendering a sincere apology.
Kanayo responded by laying hands on him, offering a prayer urging the vocal thespian to channel his social media for better purposes, and asking God to bless him.
Uche Maduagwu, who was very elated, disclosed that the legendary actor gave him N2 million as a parting gift. He described Kanayo as the most generous person in Nollywood.
“This is divine FAVOUR, my Daddy @kanayo.o.kanayo has Finally FORGIVEN me for criticizing him and gave me Two Million Naira for Christmas, OMG, this is too much, I’ve been Crying all day, tears of JOY, he PRAYED for me and then surprisingly gave me 2 Million Naira.
“Sir, you are the most Generous in Nollywood, you are my Destiny helper, Abeg, make you Na help me Thank this Great Legend”, he wrote.
Uche Maduagwu recently lambasted his senior colleague, Kanayo O. Kanayo, on his Instagram page.
The drama began with a video of John Okafor, popularly called Mr. Ibu, crying for help from the hospital bed. After the video went viral, people started flooding social media with different opinions.
Kanayo, aka Mazi Sacrifice, made a video calling out Verydarkman and Uche Maduagwu for using Mr. Ibu’s case to criticize others and chase clout.
This did not go down well with Maduagwu, who made a post attacking Kanayo.
The controversial actor asked his senior colleague if he gave money to any Nollywood legend who had battled different ailments in the past.
He said that Kanayo mentioned his name in his video because he knows he speaks the true.
