One of the cutest video to make its way to social media over the weekend is that of established author Chimamanda Adichie singing her daughter’s praise in her local dialect.
Chimamanda shared the beautiful moment she took to praise her daughter on Instagram.
In the video, the award-winning author is seen affirming her daughter. She sang her daughter’s praise in Igbo and the girl joined in to complete her mother’s sentences.
Captioning the post, the proud mother of one revealed the reason why she offered to praise her daughter. Chimamanda said she also enjoyed the same act of adulation from her father.
“And one day I will tell her that my hailing her, this love-drenched litany of affirmation, is because my father hailed me too,” she wrote.
