Is your work environment a significant area for building romance? or do you refrain from mixing business with pleasure? It has been estimated that most people meet their future partners through or at work. Love is a beautiful thing, mostly when you are out for it. There is a saying, that, “you are more likely to find the one when you are not looking”. In this day and age where socialising ends on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other related social networks, going out just for the purpose of finding friends is slowly fading away. However, This opens more door to work relationship, where most of us this days work more than we socialise, there for any little opportunity of finding the one, relies on the job we do.
Can someone change their job if they have no chance of finding the one when the biological time is ticking?
Well, if you are a workaholic and think your work place is the only chance you have for finding love and its not happening, you might want to look into finding another job, or changing some certain things, like working less. Of course it is easier said then done.
While some look for love at work place, others look-out for it. Some can feel intimidated when someone fancies them at work. either they wouldn’t be able to work effectively or they take is as an offence, mostly if they are already in a relationship. Others watch out for sexual harassment, if the attraction is not mutual.
With me personally, i would refrain from work colleague relationship. I rather get the work done, keep it professional and keep away from disappointments. What i hate the most is when you present a business opportunity to a male partner and he looks right pass your business proposal, thus initiating and expecting something more. No! no! no!
Business project between the opposite sex are more likely to spark and develop to something more, but the two parties have to be on the same page. It is so wrong, when a male partner likes his co-worker and if she don’t reciprocate, he makes life a leaving hell for her. The same applies to women. Majority are the male counterparts who are more likely to be from a higher position.
Do you know that most men fancy their female work partners not because she is beautiful, or grace her self in a certain way? They do only because of the work challenges she can handle. He falls for her knowledge, enthusiasm and determination. This does not apply when the male just want some sexual comfort.

Work Life relationship can also go wrong some times. To rest my case, I will advice we should be mindful of who we date, make our rules, and stick to them. Look for love in the right places and time and not make someone else’s life a leaving hell, just because things didn’t go our way. Finding a partner at work can turn out to be a beautiful thing, everyone needs love after all.
