Abosede, the mother of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, famously known as Mohbad, is standing firm in her demand that her daughter-in-law, Wunmi, must proceed with a DNA test for their son, Liam.
Despite Wunmi’s earlier indication of her willingness to undergo the test, Wunmi recently backtracked and declared her refusal to subject Liam to further DNA scrutiny.
Africanglitz had earlier reported about Wunmi shifting her stance, asserting that only her deceased husband, Mohbad, holds the authority to request a DNA test from her.
She vehemently maintains that Mohbad was her first and only intimate partner, who disregarded her, and he is the only man she has ever met.
In a widely circulated video, Mohbad’s mother has stepped into the fray, insisting that Wunmi must undergo a DNA test to determine Liam’s paternity.
Despite emphasizing the importance of the DNA test, she emphasized that this matter is strictly a family affair, imploring outsiders, particularly Nigerians, to refrain from interfering in their personal affairs.
She said, “Nigerians should not be concerned about DNA issue, it was supposed to be a family issue. I insisted on it from the onset. It was Mohbad’s father that publicized the issue.
“Why are Nigerians hypocrites? By God’s grace, we shall get justice for Mohbad, even if his father’s intentions are different.
“Let Omowunmi do her part too. I cannot support her. I want her to do the DNA test.”
