There were several celebrated birthdays. Ex-BBNaija housemate Chichi turns 23 years old and hosted a beautiful birthday party. Veteran Nollywood star Jide Kosoko and actor IK Ogbonna also celebrated their Birthday. In the music industry, musician Seun Kuti also celebrates his birthday as he turns 40 years old.

1. Omawunmi Celebrates love anniversary
Famous actor and singer Omawunmi Megbele, popularly known as Omawunmi, who got married to her husband, Tosin Yusuf, in 2018 celebrates 8 years of love and friendship anniversary with her spouse on Friday, 13th January 2023.
The couple has known each other for 8 years and married for 5 years.
The singer Omawunmi posted a picture of her and her spouse on her Instagram page with the caption;
“Happy anniversary my distinguished Handsome, Gentle of a husband @tosinyusuf. 8years of love, friendship, support and happiness…I will always run to you in slow motion in a field of flowers! Indian film has got nothing on us!“

2. Regina Daniels Celebrates Mother’s Birthday
Famous Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and wife Nigerian billionaire Ned Nwoko celebrated her mother’s birthday on Thursday, 12th January 2023. However, the main event kicked off over the weekend.
The actress and mother of two shared a video clip where she sprayed and spoilt her mother with money while dancing. Regina Daniels also celebrates her mother with an amazing write-up in the caption session. The song “Buga by Kiss Daniel” played alongside the video.
The amount of money sprayed was so much that a lady can be seen packing it in a traveling box.

Famous Nigerian singers Simi and Adekunle Gold, secretly dated for over solid 5 years before getting engaged in 2018 and finally did a secret wedding on 9th January 2019. Interestingly, It took the loving couple some time to reveal the truth to their fans.
The super-talented Celebrity couples celebrate their wedding anniversary on Monday, 9th January 2023. But made it official over the weekend.
Simi posts a memorable loving picture on her Instagram story and wrote, “I don’t know how I’ve been married for 4 years.”

4. Nkiru Sylvanus Traditional and White Wedding Ceremony
Famous Nollywood actress Nkiru Sylvanus shocked her fans and had not only a traditional wedding but also her white wedding ceremony with her long-time lover, Riches Sammy. Her young-looking husband whom many confessed was so handsome is a Japanese based TV personality and restaurant business owner. The beautiful couple had their traditional wedding on Friday, 13th January 2023. The new couples were dressed in a beautiful wine lace from @didissignature_ltd. For the wedding reception, Nkiru changed into a glittering long white dress.

5. Big Brother South Africa/Naija
The reality TV show Big Brother Africa is the African version of the international reality TV franchise Big Brother.
A special edition of Big Brother Africa franchise called Big Brother Titans premiered on 15th January 2023.

6. Wizkid Finally Shows The Face of His New Son With Jada
Famous Nigerian singer and songwriter Adrianna Simwa Ayodeji, popularly known as Wizkid recently welcomed a new son with his manager and baby mama, Jada Pallock. Since welcoming their second child together in 2022, the couple never revealed the baby’s gender after birth. Wizkid has finally done so and revealed the face of his cute new baby boy on his Instagram page, alongside a glimpse view of his babymama, Jada Pallock.
The top Afrobeats singer already has three sons with three different baby mamas. Boluwatife Balogun, Ayodeji Balogun and Zion Balogun by Shola Ogudugu, Binta Diamond Diallo and Jada Pallock, respectively.
