Unfortunately, Wizkid will not be opening or performing at the Wireless Festival which kicked off today at Finsbury Park, London. A sign was put up at the venue early today to inform his eagerly waiting fans, reasons being visa issues. Wireless Festival also made the announcement on their social media pages while Wizkid took to Twitter to apologise to his fans.
Wizkid is almost a world superstar, it is unbelievable he was denied visa into the UK. Unless there is something more. The StarBoy was announced as one of the headline acts for the festival back in May. Wizkid was set to perform on the first day of the festival, today Friday 9th of July.
What a shame!
