Afrobeats singers, Wizkid and Tiwa Savage are displaying PDA again, this time in Dubai where they performed at One Africa Music Fest. Wizkid couldn’t get his hands off Tiwa Sage as the singers carry out their friendship with benefit display in front of their fans.
When 39-year-old singer, Tiwa Savage was asked about her rumoured romance with 29-year-old Wizkid earlier this year, she made it clear her love life is not a community project. However, the energy the two famous singers continue to display in public, especially at concerts, doesn’t help the situation but instead spark diverse reactions.
It all started eight years ago. In May 2012 when Wizkid joined Tiwa Savage as Pepsi brand ambassador, which became their first big brand deal, it allowed them to work together for a very long time. The connected and grew in the Nigerian music industry and has become part of the most powerful singers who are still relevant today.
Apart from flirting, touching and giving hugs, Tiwa and Wizkid have also shared a kiss on stage. The kiss, as you can imagine, shocked their fans and got people talking.
The Rumour about Wizkid and Tiwa’s savages relationship grew stronger in 2017, just after Tiwa’s marriage to Till Billz began to crumble. The top singers collaborated in a few songs, which includes BAD and Ma Lo, but the rumour about their relationship became more convincing after their hit track Fever. Although Wizkid has never openly talked about the romance, Tiwa Savage also avoid talking about it on several occasions. The two singers have been able to capitalise in their rumoured romance, and it works every time they put a display for their fans be it on photos, stage on social media.
In October 2019, Tiwa finally breaks her silence about the Afrobeats romance. In an interview with Olisa Adibua on Beat FM, the mother of one stated that although she is very much single, there is a certain “friends with benefits” kind of friendship between her and Starboy. She was also asked how deep their relationship was and if intimacy was involved with no emotions attached. Tiwa stated that their friendship was beneficial in a way that they make money together.
Wizkid already, IS a father of three children from three different women. The Afrobeats singer doesn’t appear to be exclusive in a relationship with any woman at the moment. Starboy from his vibe on social media looks like he is more focused on his craft which has grown beyond expectation. But whenever he meets with Tiwa Savage, or work together, their energy and romantic fooling around don’t go unnoticed.
