The first-ever Women In Creative Enterprise (WICE) a platform for women who aim to thrive in the creative enterprise took place on Saturday, November 24, 2018, in Milton Keynes, UK. Being the first of its kind, the all-day event was hosted by founder Princess Folaji Fasanya-Omoyeni.
The two-part event, a conference and dinner gala was very successful. Attendees were motivated, empowered inspired and equipped with more knowledge for business and creativity.
WICE Conference kicked off with Keynote speech and inspirational talks by prominent individuals in the creative and business industry such as; Chief Mrs Elizabeth Ozua, Mrs Morenike Ajayi, Cllr. Hannah O’Niel, Mr Sam Onigbanjo, Ms Funmi Akinsanya-Alake, Dr Pauline Long, Ms Adenike Fasanya-Osilaja, Morenike Ajayi, Lade Olugbemi, Pricilla Nwikpo who shared their first-hand knowledge and professional experiences.
Anita Quansah, Grace Alexander, Wambui Naju Crystal Deroche, Sam Onigbanjo, Adejoke Haastrup, David Smith were among panellists on the day, they held a discussion, and also shared their knowledge on creativity and enterprise.
Exhibitors also showcased their business while networking, the conference ended with entertainment, lunch and networking.
WICE Gala dubbed‘The Experience’, took place at De Vere Horwood Estate at the outskirt of Milton Keynes was a night of entertainment, fun, fashion, style, culture and glamour. Influential guests and creative enterprise doyens gathered to mingle, network and share knowledge.
The evening hosted by Dele Kuponiyi and Ayo Sonoiki was a funfilled night with inspirational talks and Keynote Speeches.
The gala saw entertainment by Ayan De First who entertained the crowd with his African talking drum, Poetry by Fope Jegede, Fashion by FFolaji London, Contemporary dance by Rebecca, Led sound act by Daniel and Jesse and Closing dance by DJ Abass.
