    Wizkid, without a doubt, is the most prominent music artist to come out of Nigeria. He has earned global recognition through his music having worked with artists like Drake, Wale, Skepta, Beyoncé and a host of others. Wizkid is ranked 7th wealthiest music artist in Africa according to Forbes with a net worth of $20M. His wealth comes from record sales, domestic and international shows and endorsement deals.

    All these in the space of 10 years gives him wealth to stand among the rich and famous celebrities around the world who are millionaires in dollars. But our question is, how does he spend all that money? Wizkid aka Starboy whose real name is Ayodeji Balogun Ibrahim is a 29-year Afrobeats artist who started his career at age 11 in Lagos where he was born. He grew up listening to King Sunny Ade, Fela Kuti and Bob Marley.

    He worked around veteran Nigerian musicians like OJB Jazreel, Neato C, and Banky W. Starboy also witnessed artists like 2face Idibia and Sound sultan record their album.

    Inspired by the Greats, his debut into the music industry was an instant success. Since the release of ‘’Holla at your boy’’ in 2010, Wizkid has been releasing hit songs back to back including songs like Jaiye Jaiye, Ojuelegba, Fever, Caro, On top your matter, Sexy mama, Pakurumo, Come closer ft. Drake, among others. He has won over 50 awards locally and internationally and also over 120. He also has a Grammy nomination for a song he was featured ‘one dance’ in 2016 by Drake. The song earned him a vast global recognition peaking at no 1 in 15 countries including US, U.K, Canada and Australia on the Billboard Charts. His endorsement deals are also worth the gist.

    He signed a N127M deal with Pepsi in 2012, a N128M deal with Globacom in 2015, a contract with Ciroc in 2018, a N745M deal with Nike, he was paid N7.2M in 2018 for the catwalk for Dolce&Gabana and his latest signing with UBA which is said to be the biggest endorsement deal in Africa yet.     Bentley Continental GT speed convertible: The Soco singer acquired the Bentley Continental GT worth N42M in 2015. He also owns a 2012 Hyundai sonata car worth N6M presented to him by Headies in 2012 for winning the next rated award and a Mercedes 2012 Compressor worth around N9M. Wizkid currently owns two houses in Lagos and one in the US. The first house he acquired is a 4-bedroom duplex in Surulere, Lagos in 2013. The house is estimated to worth N13M.

    His second house is located in Lekki Lagos and cost a whooping N68M. He also owns a home in Los Angeles, USA worth millions. Wizkid loves fashion and knows how to rock an expensive designer wears. In October 2019, he wore a $6,550 Louis Vuitton jacket to perform at his Starboy feast in 02Arena London. The iconic jacket cost him a whopping N2.3M.

    In the previous year, he wore to his concert a Gucci top costing an eye-watering $3,700 — that’s about 1,332,000 in naira. While his pants for the show cost about $990. In 2018, Wizkid rocked Gucci sweater, joggers and sneakers worth over N1million to Davido’s 30Billion concert.
