Writer and life coach Solomon Buchi advises actor Yul Edochie on the importance of getting one’s life in order before answering God’s call.

Solomon Buchi shared these words with Yul Edochie regarding his decision to embark on a ministerial journey.

In a post he made on his X handle, Solomon Buchi questioned Yul Edochie’s spiritual father, his church, and who disciplined him.

He remarked that the actor had been involved in adultery and polygamy for some months, rendering him ineligible to preach the gospel until he sought total repentance and recovery.

He stated that even though the actor has gone through a lot in recent months, he requires intensive psychiatric care because the pretence of ministry isn’t helping him.

Acknowledging that God can call anyone to serve him, Solomon Buchi highlighted the significance of self-reflection and inner stability as prerequisites for effectively embracing a spiritual calling.

He wrote: “Yul Edochie is making a caricature of the Christian faith. From cheating on his wife, getting another woman pregnant and being caught, to claiming polygamy is normal and okay, and now to open a ‘ministry’ claiming God called him. No doubt, God can call anyone, but there’s a whole structure to the logistics of starting a ministry.

Who is Yul Edochie’s spiritual father? What church does he even currently attend? Who discipled him? In the past months, he’s been involved in adultery and polygamy, which the Lord can forgive, but why is his ministry launch so close to a vulnerable season, for which he needs repentance and healing?

Yul has been through quite a lot in the past months, and he might need intensive mental care. This charade isn’t helping and all he needs is Jesus and reflective time to morph into a better man. It’s hard to tell if his ‘ministry’ is sarcastic or real, but whatever it is, it is still embarrassing to the Christian faith. Get your life and family together first, Yul”.

Solomon Buchi isn’t the only one who has addressed Yul’s ministerial calling.

Noble Igwe, who was left baffled, noted how Yul Edochie went from doing real estate business to answering the call of God and starting his own ministry. He wondered how Yul just woke up one day and thought of preaching the gospel. The media personality stated that something was off about him.

Former reality TV star Nina Ivy stated that the actor had called himself and not God.

A week ago, Yul revealed that he was finally ready to accept the call of God by doing God’s work and spreading the true message of God.

The actor announced the launch of his online ministry, The Salvation Ministry, where he will be preaching the gospel.

Many thought he was just chasing clout until he held his first online service on Sunday, January 28th, where he recounted how God called him.

The movie star, however, assured his fans and followers that he wasn’t ditching acting for ministry.

Yul Edochie further disclosed to his followers that he was just trying to fulfil his destiny and that God’s work was his destiny.
