Top Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has given his two cents regarding Catholic priests and their life-long celibacy.
It’s no news that Catholic priests are not allowed to have any sexual relationship or raise a family as they are expected to stay celibate for life in other to remain holy and focused on the things of God.
But the actor says that catholic priests should be allowed to get married somewhere along the line in their service to God.
Yul made this known via his Twitter page on Thursday, February 6, 2020. According to him, he has gotten wiser with age and thus, had a change of opinion on the issue.
“Now that I’m older and wiser, I believe it’s best for Catholic priests to be allowed to get married. DON’T ASK ME WHY!” he wrote.

His opinion didn’t go unnoticed amongst fans, followers and the online community in general as many took to the comment section of his tweet to react.
While some agreed to his call for change, others disagreed and slammed him for making such call.
