Popular Nigerian singer Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael aka Zlatan Ibile has taken to social media to recount his past life and the extreme step he almost took as a result of hardship.
Zlatan Ibile says he was so financially stricken by poverty that he seriously considered indulging in the internet fraud well known as ‘Yahoo’.
The singer made this known in an Instagram live chat with a friend where he disclosed the secret about his dark thoughts during his early rocky years.
In the great reveal, he noted that he was on the brink of engaging himself in fraudulent activities on the internet with his laptop due to frustration.
“I almost carried laptop, I almost carried laptop, I was frustrated, thank God sha,” he said.
The music star went on to disclose that apart from his money problems, he also struggled to get the attention of ladies while he was an upcoming artist.
Zlatan would later get his big break in his music career in 2018. He is now considered as one of the top acts in the country, with multiple hit tracks to his name.
